Here are some of my favorite resources from
back end systems like shopping carts and merchant accounts, through
marketing and writing tools to build your business. Enjoy.
SYSTEMS
A great shopping cart means autoresponders,
broadcasts, ad tracking, upsell capabilities and much more. Easy
Web Automation is the best. It will take your business
as big as you want to make it.
Here's an article I wrote about the shopping cart features. It's
called "What's
in Your Shopping Cart":
My favorite Merchant Account is
Practice
Pay Solutions. The shopping cart is the cash register,
the merchant account is your bank. Get same day deposits popped
right into your checking account
My favorite web host is
Blue Host. They have great band width for all
those audios and videos you plan on making. And Fantastico to
load your Word Press Blog.
TOOLS
I keep all my domain names on GoDaddy
so they are all in one place.
I record my courses on Audio
Acrobat. They have video and podcast capabilities
too and a great training program. This is an important resource
for recording purposes.
Free
Conference Call is a free service for holding your telecourses.
You can record there too. You just get on and talk!
I switched to Gmail
and love it. I can get it from any computer anywhere I
it is fast.
I recently started Mozilla Firefox
for my browser and like it a lot.
Go
to Meeting is in use everywhere. It lets you capture your
screen while talking. I haven't worked the back end yet as a presenter
but enjoy being in a class that uses it.
Membership
Site Software for Word Press This great plug in can manage
multiple sites and connects with your shopping cart.
Bit.ly
to make those long links into tidy tiny ones.
Format-it
to make your emails 70 characters wide
Moodle,
a free learning environment for your courses.

You can find it on
Blue Host.
But I started out on Typepad
and still recommend that for beginners.
Use the WordPress plug in Ping.fm
to get your blog posts placed on FaceBook, Twitter and LinkedIn
as you post them.
Exine

do a great job of letting FaceBook and Twitter know you have posted
an article and have fabulous statistics to know what's working.
